Nature's Best started out in 1995 as a small mowing & maintenance business. Jerry & Carrie Trageser, with their background in the nursery business, built their first greenhouse just one year later in 1996 and by 1998 a full service landscape division was created.

Today there are 20 greenhouses on 5 acres that grow quality annual, perennials, groundcovers, ornamental grasses and some shrubs. In 2006 Jerry & Carrie opened a retail garden center, The Sage Gardener, to showcase their plants and further promote the landscape and maintenance divisions. The garden center showcases the company's diverse plants and inspirational landscape ideas.
